The second half began with Nazareth Academy striking almost immediately, extending their lead to 3–0 and setting the tone for the remainder of the match. From that point forward, the Roadrunners maintained full control, capitalizing on defensive lapses and converting their opportunities efficiently. By the final whistle, Nazareth had added three more goals, closing the game at 6–0.
Intrinsic battled throughout, showing effort and determination despite the deficit.
John Galeana Jr. faced heavy pressure in goal, making several saves to hold off further scoring. Jhon Rojas and Nicolas Vazquez continued to fight for possession in the midfield, while Jesus Melecio worked to create space and generate late scoring chances, though the Ravens couldn’t find the back of the net.
Nazareth’s organized attack and consistency in transition proved too much to overcome. Their ability to finish chances and stay composed defensively secured their spot in the next round of the IHSA playoffs.
While the loss brings the Ravens’ playoff run to an end, the team’s season showcased clear progress. Finishing with a 7–8–1 record, the Ravens demonstrated steady improvement and strong leadership on and off the field. Underclassmen like Melecio and Vazquez emerged as key contributors, setting a solid foundation for the program’s future.
