Media Contributor Role

For those not in leadership positions, the Media Contributor role is where the magic happens. Contributors create and share content, collaborating with their state leadership to showcase the best of high school sports. Everyone who has filled out a form and joined our Discord Community is a Media Contributor.

Step 1: General Information Form

To join, we ask that you first fill out a General Information Form. This allows us to identify you better, as well as place you on our directory of contributors.

Step 2: General Community Access

This is your hub for:

  • National sports updates and discussions
  • Cross-state collaborations
  • Sharing your work and achievements
  • Casual conversations with fellow media members
  • Network-wide announcements

Privacy Guidelines:

  • Respect confidential information shared by other members
  • Maintain professional conduct in all interactions

Step 3: PSC Press Pass (Optional) 📸

We offer physical press passes to help identify you as part of our national network:

  • Cost: $10
  • Process: We collect orders in batches for efficient printing and shipping
  • Shipping: Sent directly to your provided address once batch printing is complete

Important Note About Press Passes:
While the PSC Press Pass helps identify you as part of our national network, please note that it doesn't guarantee access to events. Each venue and event may have their own media credentials process. However, having a professional press pass from a recognized national network can help establish your credibility when requesting access.

Step 4: State Account Collaboration

Start amplifying your coverage by collaborating with your state's PSC account:

How to Collaborate on Instagram:

  1. Create your post as normal
  2. When ready to post, tap "Tag people"
  3. Select "Add collaborator"
  4. Search for your state's PSC account (e.g., @PSC_California)
  5. Send the collaboration request

Note: If your state doesn't have a PSC account yet, stay tuned! We're continuously expanding our network.

Step 5: Main PSC Account Collaboration

You'll be added to your state's dedicated group chat where you can:
