The Brooklyn Blaze etched their name into AVP history today, clinching the 2025 AVP Women’s Championship with a commanding straight-set victory over Palm Beach Passion.

Behind the powerful duo of Emma Denaburg and Charlie Donlin, the Blaze showed their chemistry and execution on the sand, outpacing Passion’s talented pairing of Brandie Wilkerson and Melissa Humana-Paredes by scores of 15-10, 15-10.

For Brooklyn, the win was the culmination of a dominant run through the bracket. Their aggressive serving and defensive discipline proved too much for Palm Beach, who had been a fan favorite after strong showings in earlier rounds. Despite the efforts of Wilkerson and Humana-Paredes, the Passion struggled to find consistent rhythm against the Blaze’s fast transitions and relentless pressure at the net.

This victory places Brooklyn alongside the Dallas Dream (men’s finalists led by Benesh and Partain) and Palm Beach’s men’s team (Smith and Webber) as standout programs making their mark in this year’s championship. The Blaze’s ability to stay locked in, closing both sets by the same margin, underscored their consistency and focus in the biggest match of the season.

With the Blaze crowned champions on the women’s side, all eyes now shift to the men’s final where the Dallas Dream and Palm Beach Passion prepare to clash on CBS for the ultimate prize in professional beach volleyball.
